KARACHI: Two persons were killed in different road accidents in the metropolis in the wee hours of Monday.
According to rescue sources, a 44-year-old man, Ghulam Qasim son of Ali Shan, was hit by a fast-moving vehicle while crossing the road near Jogi Morr in Landhi. As a result, he suffered severe injuries.
The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
Separately, a speeding car hit a motorbike in Jang Press Saima Trade Tower. As a result, a 22-old-youth, Manish Kumar suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for a postmortem examination.
