Islamabad: Security forces killed two terrorists in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday. It said an intelligence based operation (IBO) was conducted in the area after reports of terrorists’ presence. In an intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed. One of the killed terrorists was identified as Asmatullah alias Hafiz. Identification of the other terrorist was in progress.

The terrorists were wanted for activities against security forces, target killing and kidnapping for ransom. A huge cache of weapons and ammunition including sub-machine guns, hand grenades and a large quantity of multiple calibre rounds were seized.
