Woman injured in road mishap

KARACHI: A woman was injured in a road accident in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the metropolis on Friday.

As per sources, a 70-year-old unknown woman was hit by a speeding car near Rim Jhim Restaurant in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, while she was crossing the road. As a result, she sustained severe injuries.

The injured was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment, where her condition was stated to be serious.
