Gharhi Khuda Bux, Sindh: Pakistan Peoples’ Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that he and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would contest bye-elections for National Assembly.
Addressing a rally here on the occasion of the ninth death anniversary of his spouse Benazir Bhutto, Asif Zardari said he would contest by-elections from Nawabshah and his son from Larkana and they would not spare ‘Mughul kings’ after reaching the assembly.
He said they would have no objection if the Supreme Court appoints the head of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He said they are not afraid of the courts. He said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had not said that they would take to streets or attack democracy. He said we will go to parliament and courts and avail our constitutional rights.
However, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his speech criticized the government and alleged that it has failed on every front. He said he would soon tour whole country on a ‘political long march’.
