14 disgruntled MPAs file No Confidence Motion against Jam

QUETTA: A group of 14 disgruntled Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) MPAs and their allies in the coalition government in Balochistan filed No Confidence Motion against Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan here on Monday.

The disgruntled members claimed that the Chief Minister Balochistan had lost the support of majority as he had the support of only 24 members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly out of 65. No-confidence-motion, signed by Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Jan Muhammad Jamali, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Akbar Askani, Muhammad Khan Lehri, Sikandar Umrani, Lala Rashid, Majabeen Sheran, Bushra Rind of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Mir Asadullah Baloch and his wife Bibi Mastura of Balochistan National Party (Awami) and Mir Naseebullah Marri of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was submitted in the office of Secretary, Balochistan Provincial Assembly.

Talking to media after submitting no-confidence motion against Jam MPA Mir Zahoor Buledi of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) said that there had been political crises in the province for the last one month as majority members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly has expressed their no-confidence against Khan. He added that out of 65 members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Jam had the support of only 24 members.

It is worth mentioning that earlier 16 members of opposition parties had filed no confidence motion against Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, on September 14, 2021, but summary initiated for convening the session of Balochistan Provincial Assembly was rejected by Governor Balochistan due to some technical flaws.
