KARACHI: Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) on Monday informed that 1544 vehicles, including four and two wheelers, were snatched and stolen this year in Karachi.
It stated that 475 cases were detected and 638 accused arrested. ACLC said that 43 four-wheelers and 389 two-wheelers were also recovered. However, 161 four-wheelers and 1500 two-wheelers were also recovered.
During the above period, 36 gangs of criminals were busted, one proclaimed offender and 13 absconders were also arrested. ACLC also claimed that 13 pistols along with 35 bullets were recovered from their possession.
