KARACHI:Three-Day grand eye and diabetes camp launched on Monday by the Hawa Ilm-Ul-Shifa Trust to cater health needs of residents of district central.
Hundreds of patients rushed on first day where they were provided consultation and medicines. Camp is established at Sheikh Eye and Diabetic Hospital located in North Nazimabad.
Talking to reporters at camp, Chairman Hawa Ilmul Shifa Trust Wahid Ali Rehmani told that shuttle service is being provided to patients for pick and drop. We are expecting thousands of patients in this three days camp, of which more than 200 will be offered phaco operation free of charge, he said.
Patients are being provided consultation, medicines and laboratory test facilities free of charge, he informed.
Camp will run till March 20 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
