BADIN:Rangers and police, along with Irrigation Department, continued operation against water theft in Shaheed Fazil Raho area in district Badin.
According to rangers’ spokesman, during the operation, 30 illegal water connections were disconnected. The operation will continue as authorities has deployed police force to catch water thieves. Raids were being carried out in different parts of the Badin to demolish illegal water connections, he said.
The peasants of the area have appreciated rangers and police operation against water thieves.
Earlier, on 10 March, Rangers and police started operation against water theft in which two illegal water connections were disconnected.
