LARKANA: The SSP Larkana has awarded different punishments to 44 cops, including 14 SHOs of Larkana district, on Wednesday for their failure to curb crimes and maintain peace and tranquility in their respective jurisdictions.
These SHOs include Badah, Market, Sachal, Airport, Veehar, Bakrani, Rashid Wagan, Baqapur, Fatehpur, Hatri Ghulam Shah, Garello, Kanga, University Road and Darri police stations. Their names include Inspectors Imran Bhatti and Zubair Soomro and Sub Inspectors Talib Hussain Junejo, Ali Hyder Malano, Qalab Hussain Soomro and others.
They have been awarded punishments of stoppage of annual increment for future and censure. SSP Imran Qureshi said that no negligence will be tolerated in performance of government duties and all those involved in illegal acts will be taken to task. He further directed his subordinates to ensure maintenance of law and order, curb crimes and criminals in their respective limits so that masses should not suffer.
