KARACHI:At least 92 more dengue fever cases emerged in Karachi city in a day, taking the reported cases toll to 2,422 since 1st January 2019.
According to the weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue (PCPD) Sindh, as many as 93 more dengue fever cases were detected throughout the Sindh province in a day, out of which 92 were reported in Karachi and one in other district.
In September, a total of 1,029 dengue positive cases surfaced across the province out of which 988 happened in Karachi and 41 in other districts.
In 2019, a total of 2,531 dengue cases have been detected in Sindh province so far out of them, 2,422 were in Karachi and 109 in other districts.
Ten people have died due to dengue fever in Karachi this year so far.
