Thatta: Thatta police arrested three accused of a sodomy case on Thursday and locked them up at Daro police station.
As per details, local police took action when civil society strongly protested against alleged sodomy of a youth Parkash Kumar by influential people belonging to the ruling PPP at Daro town near Mirpur Bathoro and uploading its video on social media.
Police arrested accused PPP Mirpur Bathoro ex general secretary Arbab Ibrahim Memon, Saleem Ghagho and Saleh Memon and detained them in lockup of Daro police station. The police also lodged FIR against them and began further probe.
Meanwhile, a large number of citizens and civil society members staged protests in Thatta and demanded giving stern punishment to the accused.
