AJK: (AJK President condemn ruthless killing of innocent Kashmiris by Indian forces)

ISLAMABAD:Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has strongly condemned the ruthless killing of innocent people by Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.

In a statement in Muzaffarabad on Sunday, he appealed to the United Nations to intervene and establish a commission of inquiry in the light of the recommendation by UNHCHR to halt Indian state sponsored terrorism.

Masood Khan termed the Pulwama massacre by Indian occupation forces as grave violation of human rights. He said the gruesome act of terror has unveiled brutal face of India.

He said India wants to frighten people of Occupied Kashmir and weaken their freedom spirit but it will never succeed in its evil designs.

He said the latest wave of brutalities against innocent Kashmiri people is nothing but a state sponsored terrorism.

Masood Khan said if the international community fails to act swiftly, the concept of human rights, respect for humanity and human dignity will be left irrelevant.

He said the United Nations is duty bound to protect the human rights of the people all over the world and Kashmir is no exception.

He paid rich tributes to those who have offered supreme sacrifices of their lives in occupied Kashmir, saying these sacrifices will not go waste and their struggle for freedom and justice will crown with success one day.
