AJK: (Masood, Haider express concern over deteriorating human rights situation in IOK)

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Mohammad Masood Khan and Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan have expressed grave concern over the deteriorating human rights situation in Occupied Kashmir.

The concern was expressed during a meeting here on Wednesday, in which the two leaders discussed the situation in Occupied Kashmir and ongoing development activities in Azad Kashmir.

Both leaders observed that Indian troops are assassinating innocent Kashmiris in fake encounters and targeting them with pallet guns and other lethal weapons.

They appealed to the international community and human rights organizations to take serious notice of the massive human rights violations at the hands of Indian army in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan also informed the AJK President about the steps being taken for development of various sectors in Azad Kashmir.
