AJK:(Govt to improve health services in AJK hospitals: Haider)

Muzaffarabad: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan says the government is encouraging Public Private Partnership to improve health services in the hospitals.

He was presiding over a meeting of Health Department in Muzaffarabad on Wednesday. The Prime Minister said that private sector will provide new machinery and repair the existing machinery in the hospitals.

He said CT scan and MRI machines would be made functional in Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital Muzaffarabad. Emergency Trauma Complex would be constructed in CMH costing about 30 million rupees.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said required specialists, doctors and other paramedical staff will be made available in the hospitals.

On this occasion, the meeting was informed on the progress about Free Emergency Health Services in the hospitals.

Meanwhile, presiding over a meeting of Textbook Board, the Prime Minister AJK directed the concerned authorities to make curriculum identical to the private education sector.

He said quality education in government educational institutions will narrow the gap between rich and poor.
