Quetta: At least 8 people died and 35 others sustained injuries in a blast near rally of a religious party here on Monday.
The explosion was reported on Shara-e-Iqbal before a court building, near Quetta Press Club.
Rescue sources said at least 8 people including two police personnel died while thirty five other people sustained injuries. Explosion also caused damage to several vehicles and buildings.
Dead bodies and injured persons were shifted to Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta. Emergency has been imposed in Trauma Centre of Sandeman Provincial Hospital.
Police sources said that some device explosive exploded near a rally of a religious party, Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat.
