ISLAMABAD: Awn Chaudhry, a key member of the Jahangir Khan Tareen group, was appointed as the Adviser to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sports and Tourism on Tuesday.
President Dr Arif Alvi approved the appointment on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. An official notification was also issued to this effect. According to the notification, Awn Chaudhry’s post will be equal to that of a federal minister.
