Baloch worried over deadlock on interim setup

LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the continuing deadlock between the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition on the care taker Prime Minister was a bad omen.

Speaking at an Iftar dinner , he said, that it was high time that the appointment of the care taker Prime Minister was made and the delay would be deemed to be a failure of the democratic forces.

He said the prevailing system had brought tyranny and injustice to the masses and it was time the masses woke up for their rights.

Liaqat Baloch said that the MMA was the representative platform of religious parties and its five political parties would take all decisions collectively.

He welcomed the consensus on FATA reforms.
