QUETTA: The Balochistan government has imposed ban on withdrawal of funds other than non-development expenditures.
In a letter addressed to Accountant General Balochistan Abdul Rehman Buzdar, Secretary Finance Department stated that in wake of precarious financial position of the province, poor receipts during the first quarter and the reported huge gap in funds requirement for public sector development programme (PSDP) 2020-21, expenditure, withdrawal, utilization of development budget is hereby banned despite releases and authorization.
