Bank manager among seven criminals apprehended

KARACHI: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested seven criminals, including a bank manager allegedly involved in a rape case of a girl in the metropolis.

According to police sources, a bank manger, including two others, allegedly involved in a rape of a 13-year-old girl in Korangi area, were arrested. Separately, Korangi police arrested two criminals, Mumtaz and Sajjad for their involvement in firing on the car of Supreme Court judge Justice Gulzar Ahmed’s son Saad Gulzar, in Korangi area of the city on 10 January 2018.

Orangi town police arrested two fugitives, Shoukat alias Shoko, and Bilal, son of Faqir Mohammad. The police said that the fugitives were wanted to police in four criminal cases.

The police have registered FIRs against detainees and started further investigation.
