Bilawal files nomination papers for Larkana NA-200

LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday submitted his nomination form for NA-200 Larkana-1 in the city on the last day of forms submission date. He was accompanied by his younger sister Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, former federal law minister Farooq H. Naik, Khursheed Shah, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro and other party leaders.

Separately, Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal’s (MMA) provincial chief Maulana Rashid Mahmood Soomro also submitted his nomination form for NA-200. He too arrived with a large number of his party’s workers and supporters of Larkana Awami Ittehad.

Bilawal after submitting his nomination form visited various roads of Larkana where he was received by the area residents and activists, who showered rose petals on his vehicle. They were chanting slogans of prime minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Later, he left for Garhi Khuda Bux where he addressed a press conference. Bilawal said that he had filed nomination papers for Malakand, Lyari in Karachi and Larkana. He said it had proved that PPP candidates were contesting upcoming general elections all over Pakistan. He said he wanted to take vision of martyred Bhutto leaders forward which was the vision of democratic Pakistan where economic justice would prevail. He said PPP was the only party which could make Pakistan a progressive country. He appealed to the people of Pakistan to support him in making the country progressive and developing.

In reply to a question, Bilawal claimed that PPP would form the next government. To another question, he said all were saying that elections would be held on time and for this purpose, they had already given their stance in a press conference in Karachi that PPP wanted free and fair elections on time. He said the court would decide the case of Nawaz Sharif and all were awaiting it. Bilawal said: “We have won elections from KPK to Sindh before and have also received so many applications for all constituencies now.
