Chairman Senate arrives Quetta

QUETTA: Newly elected Chairman Senate Mohammad Sadiq Sajnrani arrived here Sunday from Karachi. It is his first visit to Quetta since he was elected Chairman of Upper House. He belongs to Balochistan.

Provincial Minsiters Sarfraz Bugti, Asim Kurd Galloo, Abdul Majid Abro, Tahir Mahmood Khan, Mohammad Khan Lehri, Ghulam Dastgir Badini, Advisers Abdul Kairm Nosherwani, Shahzad Saleh Bhotani, MPAs, Commissioner Quetta, DIG Police Quetta, tribal elders and large number of people received him at Quetta airport.

During his stay Sadiq Sanjrani would also go to Dalbandin Monday. Sanjrani House sources said that he would be accorded warm welcome upon arrival in Dalbandin. He would attend a luncheon to be hosted for him by JUI Provincial Leader Sardar Najeeb Sanjrani at Sanjrani House Kili Daudabad. He would also meet political leaders and tribal elders. From Dalbandin Chairman Senate would go to Nok Kundi.

NEWSMEN: Speaker to Newsmen at Quetta Airport Chairman Senate said he would play role for removing sense of deprivation of the province at the Centre. He would act as bridge between Federation and Balochistan. He said satiation has now become quite better than earlier.

He told that his alliance comprised 32 member which has now increased to 52 members. He said he was thankful t Chief Minister and members of provincial assembly who elected him Chairman Senate. He said Senate elections were held in transparent and fair manner and all the members cast their votes. Six Senators elected from Balochistan were independent and would remain independent. He said it is our effort Chairman Senate should be on the basis of equality and not on basis of population. We would also pass a bill in this regard in Senate he added.

He said allegations being leveled by Nawaz Sharif he would prove them wrong by his character. He said he also thanked Asif Zardari for his support. He said Main Sahib is his elder and he respects him.
