KARACHI: Sindh police on Saturday appointed Adeel Hussain Chandio, an officer of Police Service of Pakistan (BS-18), as SSP District Malir in place of Rao Anwar.
Sheeraz Nazeer, an officer of Police Service of Pakistan (BS-19), Senior Superintendent of Police District, Qambar-Shahdadkot range has been transferred and posted as SSP District city Karachi range in place of Chandio.
Dr. Assad Ijaz Malhi, an officer of Police Service of Pakistan (BS-18), Senior Superintendent of Police Clifton Division, South Zone, Karachi has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police District Qambar-Shahdadkot in place Nazeer.
Abid Hussain Qaimkhani, an officer of Police Service of Pakistan (BS-18), ADIGP (ADMN) training Sindh Karachi, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police Investigation-II East Zone Karachi against an existing vacancy.
These transfers came after Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh AD Khowaja on Saturday removed top police officer Rao Anwar from the post of SSP Malir in view of the Sindh police’s initial inquiry committee report that found Naqeebullah Mehsud as an innocent, who was killed in a police encounter.
