Chief Secretary visits Mazar-e-Quaid

KARACHI:Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah on Sunday visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, to pay homage to the Father of the Nation.

The Secretary Information and Archives Abdul Rasheed Solangi, Commissioner Karachi Mohammad Salih Ahmed Farooqi and other officers also accompanied him. On the occasion, CS laid a floral wreath, offered Fateha and also wrote down his comments in the Visitors Book.

While talking to media, the Chief Secretary Sindh stated that they will serve the people of the province as per golden principles of Quid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

While replying to a question, the Chief Secretary Sindh said that there is proper mechanism to check the corruption. “There are institutions like NAB and Anti Corruption to curb the corruption,” added the Chief Secretary. He further stated that if we work as per law, there would be no need of such institutions.
