ISLAMABAD: National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) would organize a special function to celebrate its three-year achievements on February 3 here at its premises in Islamabad.
Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr. Fouzia Saeed told media that “now that I have come to the conclusion of my three years term at Lok Virsa, we feel it is time to look back and reflect on what we have achieved,”.
“I had developed a strategy for Lok Virsa for three years, therefore, we need to see how far we have come and what priorities should be taken forward” Dr. Fouzia said. She said that the event will be an opportunity to thank all those who were instrumental in getting Lok Virsa rejuvenated.
She said that senior volunteers and advisers were together with us on this path and did tremendous work.
“One of the best initiatives of digitization of Lok Virsa’s Archives is nearing completion and we will proudly launch it at this event,” Dr. Fouzia said.
