CM asked to help for treatment of poorest cancer patient

LARKANA: A mother of four-month daughter held a protest demonstration in Jinnah Bagh here on Monday, demanding treatment of her daughter suffering from cancer.

A resident of village Mujawar of Bakrani Taluka, Samina Shaikh told newsmen that her daughter was at the very outset diagnosed with liver cancer but now doctors in Larkana had confirmed that shewas suffering from the cancer the treatment of which was very costly which she could not afford being poverty-ridden.

She said she had spent all money available and now had no more to spend to get her treated. She said doctors told her that after surgery, her daughter would be recovered. She said she was married with Nasim Shaikh one and half year ago on Watta Satta basis who was not giving home expenses due to which he divorced her.

She said millions of rupees were required for treatment of her daughter for which she appealed to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to bear the costs and get her only child treated.
