ISLAMABAD:Punjab Chief Minister Usman Khan Buzdar has directed for ensuring fiscal discipline in all departments besides reducing of unnecessary expenditures.
This he directed during a meeting with Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht who called on him in Lahore on Tuesday. During the meeting, the Minister presented one-year performance report of his ministry.
The Chief Minister said development of social sector is top priority of the government and huge chunk f money has been allocated in this regard.
He said the Punjab government has taken revolutionary measures to increase resources and fifteen percent of additional funds have been allocated for improvement of health sector.
Finance Minister said the provincial government has launched a unique program to facilitate businessmen and a target of Rs388 billion collection has been set.
