QUETTA: Without developing resources of Balochistan destination of self sufficiency cannot be achieved. Nature has blessed us with immense resources and these by utilizing them basis for provincial development and prosperity of its people can be laid. Comprehensive policy would be framed for utilizing mineral so f the province correctly. Mining industry would be provided with necessary facilities to establish it on modern lines.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo while speaking with a delegation of Coal Mines Association office bearers here Friday. Delegation was led by MPA Sardar Saleh Bhotani. Provincial ministers Prince Ahmed Ali Baloch and Akbar Askani were also present.
Assuring resolution of problems comforting mining industry Chief Minister said that being Chief Minister it is his endeavour to start implementation of immediate and effective measures for improving all the sectors. We have small time and resources but massive problem .However people would be provided maximum relief by utilizing available time and resources. He assured the delegation that coal mines owners would be provided with security. Building roads from mining areas to market would be reviewed. Report would be called form concerned quarters for minimizing general sales tax on mining industry and coal washing plant’s installation would also be reviewed.
