ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Dr Hasan Askari has said that promotion of norms of simplicity and austerity at the government level would help overcome the unnecessary expenditures.
He was talking with Provincial Minister for Law and Finance Zia Haider Rizvi in Lahore on Thursday. He said enhanced resources as a result of austerity measures could be used for providing basic needs to the people.
He lauded the efforts of and his team for taking solid measures to maintain financial discipline in the province.
