CM visits City

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Abdu Quddus Bizenjo has said that we were paying special attention on cleanliness and beautify of city and its security. Work on Quetta Safe City project which was delayed for the last one and half years would be started immediately.

He said this while speaking with citizens during his visit to City Saturday. He made a surprise visit to various parts of City today. It took him to Adalat Road, Mannan Chowk and Jinnah road. He spoke with citizens and shopkeepers about their difficulties and problems of city. During his visit traffic continued uninterrupted along Jinnah road and adjacent roads.

Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Naseebullah Bazai and Secretary C&W Sher Khan Bazai also accompanied Chief Minister.

Chief Minister mixed up with the people. They were surprised to see Chief Minister among them. They shouted slogans of Bizenjo Zindabad and Chief Minister Zindabad.

Chief Minister said security to life and property and providing secure atmosphere to citizens is our foremost priority. In view of recent lawlessness work on emergency basis was underway to provide fool proof security to the people and police officers and local administration for showing ignorance. He asked media to guide government besides highlighting people’s problems.

Taking serious notice of dilapidated condition of Jinnah Road and delay in work Chief Minister directed Commissioner Quetta and concerned officers to start repair of this important road and improve traffic system particularly parking of vehicles. He directed concerned officials to immediately start work on cleanliness, drainage and other problems comforting citizens. No lapse or ignorance would be tolerated in this regard.
