CM’s aide flays PMDC dissolution

KARACHI:Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Law, Environment and Coastal Development, Barrister Murtaza Wahab has strongly condemned the federal government’s unconstitutional steps and said that Pakistan Medical and Dental Council was dissolved without provincial consultation, which was a totally wrong and it was totally unconstitutional step by the federal government which could not be tolerated by the Sindh government.

He further said that the issuance of the ordinance to dissolve the Medical and Dental Council was totally amusing step. He said that they would fight the case of Sindh law in every constitutional platform.

He said that the ordinance was an attack on provincial autonomy because interference and wrong decisions in provincial matters/ affairs had violated the spirit of the 18th Amendment.
