LAHORE:Secretary General of the Jamaat e Islami and the MMA, Liaqat Baloch, MMA candidate from NA 130, has said that the corrupt politicians who had destroyed the country’s politics and democratic system could not run the country in accordance with the constitution and the law.
Addressing corner meetings in his area, he said that the MMA was the best choice for the masses in the present situation as it alone could pull the motherland out of its numerous crises.
Liaqat Baloch said that the corrupt system was unacceptable to the masses and the 25th of July would be the day of the triumph of the Nizam e Mustafa.
He urged all political parties and candidate to respect one another and foil every conspiracy against the elections. He said the use of harsh words in media talks was leading to tensions on roads and streets and should be avoided.
Liaqat Baloch also called for withdrawal of the fresh raise in POL prices in order to avoid fresh rise in prices.
Meanwhile, JI Spokesman and MMA candidate from NA 135, Amirul Azeem, while addressing corner meetings in Ittefaq town and adjoining areas, urged the Ulema to play heir important role in the elections.
He said that after election victory, the MMA would set up an Ulema Board in the constituency and the Ulema and religious scholars would be consulted for the solution of minor issues and disputes to minimize police interference.
