CRIME: Rangers overpower 13 including two banned outfit org’s men

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Monday claimed to have arrested 13 criminals, including two banned outfit members, from different areas of the metropolis.

A Rangers spokesman said that a rangers team carried out targeted raids in Docks and Brigade areas and apprehended two banned outfit originations’ members, Mujahid Ali and Mohammad Farhan. The accused were stated to be involved in several terror activities.

He said a search operation was also conducted in Lyari area on the information of gang-war elements and members of Uzair Baloch and Zahid Ladla groups, and detained six criminals, Sabir, Arsalan, Akash, Mohammad Asif, and Jabir.

He further said that rangers arrested an extortionist, Farhanullah Marwat alias Mango, from Awami Colony.

During search operations in Lyari and Bilal Colony, the rangers detained four suspects, Mohammad Amin, Mohammad Faisal, Mohammad Azeem, and a drug peddler, Nazar Ali.

The rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, drugs and contrabands from their possession.
