DC Kamber reviews arrangements for Chehlum

KAMBER: Deputy Commissioner Kamber Shahdadkot Javed Nabi Kosu and SSP Kamber Shahadatkot Dr Sameer Noor Channa chaired an important meeting in connection with the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussein (AS) in the Darbar Hall of Deputy Commissioner office in Kamber.

On the occasion, DC Kamber issued directives to the Assistant Commissioners for immediate solution to the issues at the tehsils level and said that they must hold a meeting with the relevant permit holders for the minor issues before coming Chehlum and report him.

The DC Kamber issued directives to the officials of the District Health Department, saying that assigning emergency duty of doctors and staff during the Chehlum would be ensured for 24 hours while all proposals, including medicines, ambulances, doctors and paramedics staffs, must be considered in his office.

He said that a fourth wave of Corona virus had started in the country to ensure implementation of SOPs within the district to ensure vaccination during the Chehlum and vaccination centers must be established outside the Majlis. On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that if cleaning, electricity, water or any other complaint should be addressed to the Assistant Commissioners of their respective affairs, they should be resolved.

The district administration, rangers or police should be given immediately. The meeting also presented their own problems by the learned scholars of various eminent disciplines. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Kambar Shahdadkot, Dr Sameer Noor Chana, said, “Our young men are on alert all the time. We will not let any enemy conspiracy succeed.”

In this regard, extraordinary security arrangements on internal and external routes have also been tightened and all stakeholders in the district have to play their own role to maintain order within the district. He said that the code of conduct and the national action plan will be implemented during the Chehlum and no one would be allowed to take the law into its own hands. Rangers, police and all assistant commissioners of the district, other relevant officers, information, scholars of various fields and officials of law enforcement agencies also attended the event.
