Karachi:Dowites78 Operation Theatre Welfare Society has inaugurated state of the art Diabetic Foot Care Centre with the name Dowites78 Foot and Wound Care Centre under the premises of Dr Ruth KM Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi.
This project is an addition to the public-private partnership in Karachi.
The inauguration ceremony held in Auditorium at OT Complex, Dr. Ruth K.M Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi. Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Quraishy, Vice chancellor DUHS, was the chief guest at the ceremony with other distinguished guests including Prof. Dr Amjad Siraj Memon, Principal Dow Medical College, Dr. Rubina Bashir, AMS General Civil Hospital and Faisal Edhi from Edhi Foundation.
The host of the event Prof. Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman, General Secretary DOTS briefed the audience regarding the journey of making Dowites78 Foot and Wound Care Centre.
