KARACHI: Karachi District West police on Thursday issued one-month performance report, which said as many as 476 criminals were arrested during March 2018.
SSP Central Dr Rizwan Ahmed in a press conference said district West police arrested seven different groups of criminals in which three accused were apprehended on murder charges, 181 under weapons ordinance, 103 drug peddlers and 49 gamblers. Moreover, 35 arrested accused were involved in street crimes.
Gulberg police arrested a seven-member robbers’ gang belonged to Muzaffargarh while the police are still in search of their two accomplices, the SSP said.
Super Market police also arrested a gang of motorcycle lifter.
The SSP further said the police have recovered weapons, hand grenades, huge quantity of drugs from their possession.
