LARKANA:The General Secretary, JUI-Fazal, Sindh, Maulana Rashid Mahmood Soomro has said that division of Sindh will never be accepted.
He was addressing a press conference at Larkana Press Club Thursday along with his brother Maulana Nasir Mahmood Soomro, who is head of JUI-F Larkana district. He said endeavors are underway to revive MQM and division of Sindh which will not be tolerated.
He said it was categorical stand of the JUI-Fazal that Sindh will not be divided in two parts at all. He said dictator Musharraf during his regime strengthened one party in Karachi and now the federal government was trying to make it a powerful party. He alleged that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was working on foreign agenda and it had become clear now.
JUI-F leader said that people were dying daily due to massive price hike in the country, but nobody had taken any notice. He said: “Karachi is not being separated from Sindh, but it has been decided to separate Karachi from Pakistan.” JUI-F leaders warned that if such matters are not stopped within two days then huge protests will be held across the country and sit-ins will also be staged on bordering areas of Sindh Punjab.
Rashid said that during by-election on PS-11, JUI-Fazal would support GDA candidate Moazim Ali Abbasi and his covering candidate would be JUI-F’s Maulana Nasir Mahmood Soomro. The JUI-F leaders on the occasion appealed to Pir Pagaro to part his ways from the federal government because they added, it was the issue of Sindh (of using article 149). They also appealed to people of Sindh to support them on the issue of dividing Sindh.
