Facelift of CHK begins

KARACHI: Dr Ruth KM Pfau, Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) administration has started beautification of the health facility by planting seasonal flowers, trees and displaying paintings in different wards of hospital to provide a healthy atmosphere to visitors.

Medical Superintendent, Dr Ruth KM Pfau, CHK, Dr Mohammad Taufiq, while talking to said beautification of different places in his hospital has already begun on the pattern of modern hospitals. He said flowers and trees have been planted at entrance & exit points of the hospital. He said wall paintings by students of Indus Valley School of Art will decorate different wards of the hospital.

He further informed that waiting areas for visitors and patients’ attendants are also being established at different places in the hospital. He said electricity polls would be erected near sitting areas, equipped with lights, especially outside the Administration and OPD Blocks.

He said aim of tree and flowers plantation in the premises is to provide a healthy atmosphere to visitors and admitted patients. He said the overall look of hospital would be improved within a few months.
