BHIRYA CITY:Five members of a family were severely burnt as gas heater fire spread in a house in Sakhi Saeed Khan Lakho locality near Bhirya City in the wee hours of Friday.
The family had lit the gas heater to beat the severe cold at house, but the excessive gas leakage spread the fire in the room at a house in Sakhi Saeed Khan Lakho locality near Bhirya City, district Khairpur Mirs. As a result, five members of the family were severely burnt and goods kept in the room also burnt to ashes.
The injured include Amar Ali Lakho, 32, his wife Umbar Lahko, child Azeef Ali Lakho, 4, minor girl Ainy, 3, and one-year-old child Balach. The incident created sorrowful atmosphere in the town.
The injured were brought to Civil Hospital Hyderabad for treatment, where doctors said that 50% bodies of wife and husband had been burnt.
