Five more camps set up in Ratodero as AIDS cases cross 507 mark

RATODERO:Five more HIV screening camps were set up in different areas of Ratodero taluka Thursday as AIDS cases have crossed 507 mark, posing a big challenge to the health authorities to tackle cases.

The three camps were established by People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Sindh in Basic Health Unit Lashari, Sadu Dero, Pir Bux Bhutto.

IHI set up two camps at Rural Health Centre Naundero and Bangul Dero, where men, women and children are being checked.

So far, more than 13876 people have been screened at various blood screening camps established in Ratodero taluka, out of which over 507 have been found HIV positive.
