FM: (Nation united against any Indian aggression and war hysteria: FM)

Lahore:Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says Pakistan does not want war with India as it desires peace in the region by resolving all issues through dialogue.

Addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Monday, he said that the entire Pakistani nation is united against the Indian aggression and war hysteria.

The Foreign Minister said the world has realized that who wants peace and who wants war.

He said National Action Plan is being implemented to eliminate extremism and terrorism from the country.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said world community has admired the role of Pakistan for regional peace and prosperity.

He said Pakistan has raised the voice of depressed people of occupied Kashmir at every forum and Kashmir dispute should be resolved through peaceful dialogue.

He said Pakistan’s Law Enforcement Agencies are fully capable of defending our territories.

The Minister said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government is committed to invest in human capital and quality education for the development, prosperity and socio-economic uplift of the people of country. He said efforts were being made to stabilize the economy of the country and the government has put in place measures to formalize the informal economy besides carrying out institutional reforms.

He said it is responsibility of the youth to play their role for progress and prosperity of the country as the nation has high expectations from them.

Talking to media, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the victory of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf in by-election in Multan has shown the people totally reject the policies of Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

He said the victory of PTI candidate has vindicated popularity of the party as its candidate defeated the candidate of the combined opposition.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said by-election has ended in political bankruptcy of both the PPP and the PML-N.

He urged the people to get rid of both these parties as they are responsible for ills of the country.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the PPP has no future in Punjab.
