Karachi: A NGO has opposed holding a food festival in a public park.
NGO National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) President Naeem Qureshi in a statement Wednesday said that a “Karachi Eat Food Festival” is scheduled from12 January to 14 January in a park in Clifton.
He said relevant municipal and environmental laws and rules and do not allow use of a main public park for such an event.
He asked to cancel the permission for holding the food festival in major park.
