QUETTA: former Station House Office Airport Thana was shot dead by armed men here Sunday.
According to details Former SHO Fazlur Rehman was sitting at show room of vehicles at Yet road in heart of city today. Armed men riding a motorcycle appeared there and opened fire. He sustained injuries. He was being shifted to civil hospital in serious condition he succumbed to his injuries.
Armed men escaped Police started investigation.
Fazlur Rehman was SHO airport thana when on May 17, 2011 Tajik and Russian nationals were targeted in Kharotabad. After this incident he was dismissed form service. Another police official in the case ASI Raza Khan was shot dead outside his home and a key witness in the case Police surgeon Dr Baqir Shah was also shot dead on Dec 29, 2011.
