KARACHI: The inauguration ceremony of Counselling Center under the auspices of Department of Psychology will be held on Tuesday, 23rd January, 2018 at Arts Auditorium, University of Karachi.
Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair will be the chief guest and inaugurate the center. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Ajmal Khan will preside over the event while Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ahmed Qadri, Sardar Yasin Malik, Prof. Dr. Farah Iqbal, Prof. Dr. Qudsia Tariq and Prof. Dr. Anila Amber Malik will address on the occasion. Chairperson Department of Psychology Prof. Dr. Farah Iqbal informed that this center is the first ever counselling center in a public sector university.
“It is pivotal to address the increasing level of stress among the citizens in the prevailing situation”, she added.
