Govt urged to work seriously on CPEC

LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that CPEC was a game changer and the government should promptly remedy the harm done to the great project by the cabinet review committee and the statement of Prime Minister’s advisor Razzaq Dar.

Talking to youth delegations from all over the country at Mansoora, he said that the PTI government itself had created confusion about the CPEC and handled the important issue casually. He said it was essential to remedy the harm that had been done in this regard.

The JI Secretary General further said that the constitution and the enforcement of the system given by the Holy Quran and the Sunnah alone guaranteed the unity, stability and the progress of the country and the nation. He said that the world media was creating intellectual confusion under a well thought out plan and was skilfully supporting the international colonial elite in the realization of its agenda.

Liaqat Baloch said that Pakistan had been achieved after great sacrifices for establishing a state on the model of the Medina state. However, the secular lobby in the country believed that the development and the progress of the country lay in the promotion of wine, dancing and prostitution. He said that actually the Islamic ideology was the identity was this country and strict adherence to this ideology, and self reliance, social justice, and hard work alone could result in the progress and stability of the country.
