KARACHI:Private company’s security guards were injured as he an attempt of dacoity at a private bank in Gulberg area of the city on Wednesday.
According to sources, a gang of four robbers riding motorbikes tried to enter the premises of a private bank located in Gulberg area. However, the bank guards put up resistance and locked the bank gate.
Meanwhile, the alleged dacoits opened fire at security guards identified as Shahmim and Ahmed Ali. As a result, they sustained bullet injuries.
The robbers fled the scene after the incidents. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment.
