KARACHI: Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) and Dow Medical College (DMC) in collaboration with Hepatitis Prevention and Control Program Sindh are organizing a hepatitis screening and vaccination camp for medical students and other staff.
Medical students would be screened and vaccinated against hepatitis at the CHK in first phase while doctors, paramedical staff, nurses, administrative staff and lower staff would be administrated vaccination in the second phase.
Medical Superintendent, Civil Hospital Karachi, Dr Khadim Qureshi, while talking to PPI, said the aim of organizing screening camp is to prevent students and employees from catching hepatitis B, C and D.
