UMERKOT:Hindus community, led by PTI MNAs Parkash Lohana, Lal Chand Malhi and Ramesh Lal have accelerated public contact campaign in Umkerkot, Mithi, Kunri, Samaro and Tharparkar district’s several towns and villages for participation of maximum number of Hindu minority people in the public gathering to be held in Umerkot’s temple ground on August 31 to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
The MNAs and other local leaders of Hindu communities are distributing pamphlets in Umerkot, Mithi and other towns of Tharparkar district as part of public contact drive.
PTI MNAs Parkash Lohana, Lal Chand Malhi and Ramesh Lal visited Umerkot, Kunri and Tharparkar areas where they met people and invited to join the public meeting in large number. The people of minorities showed willingness to join the even to support Kashmiri people.
The preparations are in full swing and 30,000 chairs have been arranged at the public gathering venue in Umerkot in which people belonging to different minority communities from Umerkot, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Karachi, Hyderabad, Tharparkar, Tando Adam, Ghotki and other cities are expected to attend the public gathering.
For the first time in the history of Pakistan, thousands of Hindu community people are expected to join the historic public gathering after India revoked special status of Kashmir. The people of Ghousia Jamaat are also set to join the function with massive participation as Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and minority leaders will address the public gathering to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
On this occasion, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be given full rejoinder that Hindus and people belonging to different minorities are safe in Pakistan.
The local Hindus are of the view that they would wave Kashmir flag with one hand and Pakistan flag with another hand. They would tell Indian government and the international community that the night of darkness and brutalities are near to end.
