ISLAMABAD: In Occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani, has expressed serious concern over the miserable plight of illegally detained Kashmiris lodged in different jails.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, he strongly denounced the jail authorities for their callous and brutal behaviour and said that they have virtually turned the jails into infamous Abu Ghraib jail in Iraq and detention period of the mates was being prolonged on different pretexts.
Meanwhile, a Delhi court has rejected the bail plea of senior leader of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, in a false case of money laundering registered against him in 2007.
