Jam don’t have right to serve as CM: Malik

QUETTA: Malik Sikandar Khan Advocate, opposition leader in Balochistan Provincial Assembly and central leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam F, has said that Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, does not have the right to serve as Chief Minister Balochistan.

Talking to media in the opposition chamber of Balochistan Provincial Assembly here on Thursday, he added that as per the principal of democracy that person could become leader of the house who enjoyed the support of majority of members of the Assembly.

Terming the tweet of Bushra Rind, Parliamentary Secretary for Information as baseless and unfounded, he said that they did not accept her statement of Twitter. Advocate called on authorities to provide security to the opposition members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly as Jam wished all of them dead.

Speaking on the occasion, MPA Younas Zehri said that majority of opposition against Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan would be exhibited on October 25. Separately, Liaquat Shahwani, spokesperson for provincial government said that no-confidence-motion moved against Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan would fail on October 25.
