Kashmir situation discussed with UK Islamic Mission

LAHORE:UK Islamic Mission delegation on held meeting with Naib Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch in Makkah.

Baloch apprised the members of the non-government organization about the latest situation in Indian held Kashmir and how people in Pakistan were in pain over the humanitarian crisis in the occupied region.

He said India had never accepted Pakistan despite seven decades of partition. New Delhi, he told them, had illegally captured Kashmir against the wishes of people of the region at the time of partition and since then it had deployed in thousands its army in the area. Indian armed forces, he said, so far killed thousands of Kashmiri, raped women and committed severe violation of human rights violation. He said world must take notice of it.

Discussing internal situation, he said overseas Pakistan made huge expectations from Imran Khan but it could not fulfilled despite one year of the PTI rule over country.
